Light Painting (FAIL)

Well, it's unusual to post failures but I really feel motivated that failures are proof of trying. I am particularly obsessed with light painting but there would always be a conflict with light and focus but (!) I am on my way to perfection (hahah). Here are two of my fail light paintings using Nikon D5100.

Caramoan Island Hopping

Just before the summer is over, we decided to have a little adventure to the islands of Caramoan. Yes, those islands are literally surrounded by white sand and it's exciting to run through it as the waves meet the shore. I've been sunburned but who wouldn't want to...it's summer!

Photography is NOW making sense to me

I'm not supposed to publish another post today but I just feel like doing it so why not post? I've been exploring NikonD5100 for quite awhile now and after months of taking shots I feel like I've improved in capturing pictures. Photography is making sense! When I was just starting to learn the real way of taking pictures, I feel like a retard that should be wearing thick-lens glasses but doesn't wear it while taking pictures. In short, I felt like my vision was blurred.  But now, I feel like a pro (I'm not a pro--just feel like one).  Here are some of the pictures I took.

A photopost: I learn photography at random times.

Hello. After a week of disappointments and stress, I still fortunately survived. I didn't know how but at least I'm still alive. I've been trying out some photo effects with Nikon D5100 and I'm far from doing good. I'm used to the automatic option when I capture using a dslr so I never learned the manual way. I thought it wasn't important until I started capturing not-so-clear pictures with the auto setting. I was more than horrified not knowing what to do to have clear pictures only to find out that I am twisting the zoom lens instead of the focus. I was like "this is so impossible...I'm an idiot" then I laughed my lungs out...alone. {I'm in my room when I discovered the difference :))}

Enough with the idiocy-thing, I was so ashamed of myself that time, really.

Now, I feel like a pro. Just kidding. I'm on my first step on being one.

This is my iPhone 4 and an alice-in-wonderland-inspired earphones. It took me forever to perfect this. Seriously.
