Teenager No More ;)

Some of the (older) people I know are so afraid of turning 20 or should I say bidding goodbye to teenage years (one of the best parts of life). They find it embarrassing to say they're twenty something already when in fact, way back when they were so young they were so desperate to grow old. Ironic, isn't it?

Well, for me...I feel happy instead. I'm happy that I'm leaving teenage years not because it didn't matter but because it's time to go forward and face another chapter of life. My teenage years was so well spent, I didn't want it redone.

So to celebrate the ending of being a teen, I listed 20 things I realized now that I'm 20.

1. I've been living for two decades now. (That's quite a long time, a freaking long time, but I had fun and I'm expecting for more decades to come hihi)

2. I've watched more movies than I've read books. (I'm a movie nerd--kidding. I don't read novels without recommendations. ^^)

Spur of the Moment (Pictures)

Just some pictures I find interestingly good despite the fact that they were taken out of the blue...might be some kind of negatives (talking about film cameras). Still, they are quite acceptable enough to be posted in here.

Glad to be Globe: A Proof of True Friendship

They say "No distance of place or lapse of time can lessen the friendship of those who are thoroughly persuaded of each other's worth.”
Isn't it exciting to have friends? How much more if you have a best friend whom you can share everything and every detail of happy moments with no secrets at all? I felt that fortunate and lucky feeling whenever I go back to those high school days when I finally found my bff (best friends forever). But, I started to worry about our friendship months before our graduation because we would be on different paths for college. It was horrifying to know that you'll be thousand miles apart from your bff and we were afraid that our friendship will fall apart. So, we swore to not let distance hinder our friendship...and my bff even said "May phone naman, we can always call each other and converse like we're staying on the same house." I agreed on her and promised that we would really call each other no matter what. Despite calamities, bad days and all kinds of negativities in the world, we were able to maintain our best friendship by calling as often as we can. I’m really glad to be a globe user and even more glad that my bff is a globe user, too!
Up until now, we still call each other and we still tell all secrets and funny stories—enjoying our add-ons in our globe mysuperplan. I can't believe what a miracle this friendship has gone through. It's a challenging milestone to still be in touch with your best friend from high school but we did it! Globe paved the way for our friendship to still be close despite the distance that separates us. I’m Glad to be Globe because with Globe you can make things possible. Thank you globe! Abot ko ang mundo. :)

Greatest Stressor so far: Preparing a birthday party

I always thought that planning & preparing a big party is fun. Well, I was right but I didn't know that it would be a big stressor at the same time. I've been planning my party for almost five months and I'm not sure if it'll be good. The party's on Friday and I'm stressed so far. This post should be a way to sublimate my stress despite my " busyness " in preparing my party. I'm turning eighteen in four days but I can't feel it. :)))

So when preparing a party, you first have to

Before summer breaks in: A picnic with friends

Final examinations have passed and I feel so free--like flying birds. I mean, no more study time and no more pressure on requirements that the school demands. All I need to do is enjoy my life and sleep as long as I want. That's how I want life when there's school. Sooo, before summer breaks in, my friends and I planned a day to shoot a video for my party, celebrate our friend's birthday and picnic all day.

A day in Ateneo de Manila

Hello! I'm finally posting something new today. I went to Manila, again, last March 3-4 to attend the 6th ICCS International Convention on Psychological Communication. It was really an informative and insightful convention held in the Henry Lee Irwin Theater, Ateneo de Manila University. We were blessed with speakers from University of Sydney and from Stanford University.

Photography is NOW making sense to me

I'm not supposed to publish another post today but I just feel like doing it so why not post? I've been exploring NikonD5100 for quite awhile now and after months of taking shots I feel like I've improved in capturing pictures. Photography is making sense! When I was just starting to learn the real way of taking pictures, I feel like a retard that should be wearing thick-lens glasses but doesn't wear it while taking pictures. In short, I felt like my vision was blurred.  But now, I feel like a pro (I'm not a pro--just feel like one).  Here are some of the pictures I took.

A Trip to Busy Places

This post should have been published a month ago but I wasn't aware that I didn't publish this so, I apologize. :)

On the second week of January, I went to Manila for a National Convention of Psychology Majors with my fellow Ateneans. That was the main reason for traveling a far distance but what made it more memorable was the tour to different places in Manila. I could have said that it should be the highlight instead.

Just a night with friends

I'm supposed to join my friends in watching the closing ceremonies of our Alternative Class Program but, to my dismay, I wasn't able to come at the right time. I missed it. Just before I could go inside our school, everybody is on their way out and my friends met me at the gate--taking pictures of the cute flying lanterns. I was like "Seriously? it's over?".

Well, I can't do anything about it. There were local bands who are still making music in school but my friends wanted to go home already and no one's going to accompany me in that case. So, I went home...but we took pictures together so it was still worth my time.
