Hello 2018! Am I too late for this?

I've written a lengthy new year post a few days before the year 2017 ends just to save it as a draft and decided not to post it. *insert awkward chuckles here* I know, you might say I'm probably dead for not posting anything for ages after telling you that I'll be frequently updating this blog. I'm alive as I can be and yes, I am definitely moving on from 2017 - my worst and best year. Let me take something from that "draft" that I've written. It's this:

"I took too many miscalculated risks yet I've been blessed with more than what I deserve."

Talking about 2017: That line definitely sums it up. I am blessed beyond my expectations despite my too naive choices and untimely decisions. There will always be people who would choose to stay behind and let you go. In my case, some stayed in 2017. I learned to take things as they are and trust my Father in Heaven that He is there to help me at any time I needed help. He did, He still does and He will help me. I know that and I have been so blessed to know that. Now, I hope you have that trust in Him, too.

So, 2018? I am ready! It's never too late to start a new year right. Well, I am starting mine in March, sooooo, hahahhaha. January and February was a Trial/Warm-up. March is the real thing. LOL. 

As much as I wish that I am back in my home in the Philippines, enjoying the company of my family and spontaneous visits of my friends, playing random nonsense games and just laughing at everything we talk about, I need to wake up and save up because I'm definitely coming home again this year. 

I started late, but I'll make sure that the two months of warm-up was enough to keep me back on track.

Hello, it's been awhile :)

Where do I even start? Hello? How have you been? Do you still read this blog?

From my birthday post to this "back-from-Hiatus" post, so many things have happened that I can't seem to find time to blog about the beautiful places I've been to, the beautiful people I met and the amazingly delicious food I had.

Hello, it's been awhile.

Living away from my parents has been a challenge but I'm glad I have my sister and my friends to keep me sane, bringing me to events, ysa activities, festivals, and going op shopping. My life would have been pretty lonely without them. I am not a fan of negativity so I am always always always inviting friends to enjoy the fun stuff and forget the not so happy ones.

So what happened in the past few months?
+ Got a cool office job
+ Survived two Terms in Uni so far (got really good ratings!)
+ Managed to surprise Mum for her Golden Birthday (even if I'm here in OZ)
+ Challenged  myself to join a Dance Routine for YSA Annual Ball (yaaas I did it! I'm not the best dancer but I can say I nailed it somehow lol)
+  Deactivated from Facebook (for a month now) because I wanted to discipline myself. Self control is difficult for me, I couldn't do my daily scripture study because of facebook so I deactivated. Now, I can absolutely tell you I've been reading my scriptures and I am more productive now!
+ Managed to create a concept and design for a cookbook (now published! yaaay!)
+ I'm planning on going back to writing my online journal :)

Stay tuned for my upcoming posts. The Winter Korea trip was not fully uploaded but I'll try to add the last post and start the Australian Destinations that I enjoyed as I live and study in the great place down under! Gosh, I still can't cope with the accent...but I'm getting there.

A Late Valentines Post

How was my valentines? I spend it with my mommy and my sister!



It was a tuesday and I have school, you know, valentine's day is not a holiday--unless the president wants it to be considered one. I've seen shades of red everywhere I go. Even when I'm inside the car, I saw a crowd wearing the same red shirt. I was like "this is exaggerated". Well, I can't do anything about it since it's their choice.

A photopost: I learn photography at random times.

Hello. After a week of disappointments and stress, I still fortunately survived. I didn't know how but at least I'm still alive. I've been trying out some photo effects with Nikon D5100 and I'm far from doing good. I'm used to the automatic option when I capture using a dslr so I never learned the manual way. I thought it wasn't important until I started capturing not-so-clear pictures with the auto setting. I was more than horrified not knowing what to do to have clear pictures only to find out that I am twisting the zoom lens instead of the focus. I was like "this is so impossible...I'm an idiot" then I laughed my lungs out...alone. {I'm in my room when I discovered the difference :))}

Enough with the idiocy-thing, I was so ashamed of myself that time, really.

Now, I feel like a pro. Just kidding. I'm on my first step on being one.

Moving On and Taking Chances: Hello 2012!

What's with the title? Hmm. I don't even know. I've been brainstorming for this post's title for the longest time but I can't really think of an appropriate title. So, I believe the title {up there ^} will do for now. You know, I'm random--all the time.

It's new year since three weeks ago and I'm only posting my new year plans today. I'm always late as ever but at least I still post random things about my not-so-cool life. Anyway, let's go back to the main purpose of posting this. I want to let you know some of my goals and plans for 2012. I like new years because I got to plan what I want to do for the entire year but I hate December 31sts because I am reminded of all the plans that are never been done.

Looking Back: Farewell 2011!

I am sorry. It took me ages to finally post this. I'm supposed to post this on the 1st day of the year but all my files were gone, including the pictures. Good thing happened, they're all revived. Okay, it's been a month and I missed posting my 100th day in Wordpress {last January 9, 2012}. *insert sad face with tears here* Anyway, I still have to post this. Better late than never :">

When new year approaches, recalling events of the previous year is usually taken for granted due to the intense brain storming of what to achieve in the coming year. So, what do I do? I'll, of course, start with 2011.  I'm not the type of person to just forget about the past {Well there are things that I don't want to remember but not everything}. I don't believe that past is past.
