The
month March is always included on the months that I love the most because aside
from the fact that it is my birth month (and my birthday falls on a payday!!!
Gimme gimme!), it is also the month we celebrate the end of a school year (or
for me this year, the end of being a college student). ALSO, it means summer is
officially starting!!!
Last
year, my birthday post was about 20 things that I’ve realized when I turned 20.
Today, I’ll be giving you information about how weird I am (and it would be
great if you could keep it as a secret *wink wink*). As you read along, you
might ask yourself why you are friends with me…well, the answer is always
simple…because you love me, right? Hahahahaha I hope I don’t get F.O.
(Friendship Over) messages after this.
*I can't remember if this is candid or not...but hey(!) my 20 year old self says hi!*
So
here goes the long list of my weirdness…
1. Whenever
I read a really good book, I never read its ending (the last few pages). I just
don’t want it to end, that’s all. So there are about five books that I have not
read the endings. (Don’t count the book of Mormon. I love that book and I
finished reading it a few times already hihi)
2. I
try to dip everything in GRAVY. Fries, biscuits, (ice cream) cones, chips,
cookies, bread…name it, I probably let it swim through a pool of gravy before I
eat it. Sounds yucky but ughh it tastes really good! (**I get a bowl and fill
it with gravy when I go to KFC #wicked)
3. I
put my phone in a mug and play dance songs on it while I take a bath (mom would
go crazy asking me why I am using a mug in the bathroom because I always forget
to bring it back to the kitchen). Yes! A makeshift amplifier because I don’t
have Bluetooth speakers hahaha. (And I learned a lesson when my old phone died
in a bucket of water. RIP 4sie).
4. I
have a bad habit of not reading text messages. My friends could testify of that
hahaha. I just like it when my sms icon has a red bubble indicating the number
of unread messages. (In my old phone, I had 1000+ unread SMS).
5. I
use stick-Os as straws when I drink milk. I sip milk through it until it
becomes soggy then I’ll eat it. That’s the only thing in my childhood that I
still do today. hihi
6. I
could watch a sixteen-episode Korean Drama in just one day. That’s like sixteen
hours. I used to do that a few summers ago when I was so addicted to Korean
Dramas.
7. Whenever
I am at an airport, I am always anxious at checkpoints. I had this feeling that
they might find bombs or drugs in my bags and I’ll be arrested. But no, I don’t
do drugs…I do chocolates. I do ice cream, too…ugh why am I talking about food
again :(
8. When
I’m really really mad, I bite my tongue. (That’s when I stop talking, I am
probably biting my tongue so hard it could fall off.)
9. I
have a love-hate relationship with garlic. I hate garlic! But I love garlic!
Weird right? It’s difficult to explain but I love eating toasted garlic but I’ll
never ever eat garlic when it is used in a dish.
10. I
love rollercoasters but never would I ever imagine myself again to be riding
Super Vikings/ Anchor’s Away. “I’m in a rollercoaster that only goes up” hihi.
11. I
create a blog then post a few updates. Delete the blog. Create another blog.
Post updates. Delete it. The cycle goes on…This is my fifth blog and probably
the only one that lasted. I have issues with maintaining a blog but I think I
did overcome it. Hooraaay!
12. I get inspired/motivated to get my
homework/projects done when I listen to old songs. Trust me, it’s weird for my
friends to know that I listen to “Always by Erasure” or to Beatles before writing
a school paper (and thesis!!!). Check my playlist…I’m taking it back. Do not
check my playlist.
13. I
am that facebook lurker (your computer teacher warned you about). I am almost
always online on fb **appear offline settings turned on!** I scan my newsfeed all
the time but I won’t like your post unless you are my close friend or I really
like your post/pictures. I read your posts, saw your pictures, and even the
comments on it hahahha. In simpler terms, ako yung chismosa sa facebook! Hahahaha
love you friends.
14. I
know how to do “a few more” things but I’m never good at it. I have this weird
craving for knowing and learning different things but once I know how to do it,
I do not do something to make it better unless I like doing it. (e.g,
photoshop, typography, playing the piano, video and music editing, and dancing
(??))
15. I
am very slow in reading Tagalog. Yep, slower than a grade school pupil. Don’t
get me wrong, I love my Filipino Subjects (B+) I just find it really difficult
to read Tagalog words faster than the others. My tongue gets twisted, probably.
16. I’m
a sucker for Macarons. Ugh. There was a time that I was so into it that I would
probably fall in love with you if you give me a box of Macarons hahahahaha.
That was a long time ago. I don’t think it would still work now haha but I do
love Macarons, more than you think I do.
17. UGG
BOOTS IS MY THING. But how do I wear them in a Tropical Country??? SYDNEY, BE
READY! I’M COMING VERY SOOON!
18. I
have this undying love for writing. I love writing but I’m never good at it. I
just find it really relaxing when I write and it is the only way that I get to
convince my parents to grant me huge requests, really huge requests (!!!!!!). If
you are a very significant person to me, I probably had written about you in my
journal. Sounds creepy now? Hahaha.
19. I eat CHEESE RINGS by using it as real rings
(inserting my fingers through its holes). Unfortunately, my fingers grew really
big that they don’t fit anymore :( #huhuhu
20. HANNY.
CHEESE RINGS. CLOVER CHIPS CHEESE FLAVOR. CALAMANSI JUICE. OREO-Os. PEPERO.
FRENCH FRIES. Those mentioned composed my right kind of (junk food) Heaven. Buy
me and I’ll love you forevs! Hihi.
21. Instead
of saying another weird thing about me, I would thank you na lang! Thank you
for taking the time to read my blogpost! It really means a lot to me that you even
get to read even until #21 of this list. I don’t feel like 21 at all!
#foreverYoung Thank you for everyone who said their congratulations and
birthday greetings to me! I dedicate this weird post to you!
P.S
You may NOT scan through my blog. But if you do, please forgive me of my
jeje-ness (hahaaha) because this blog was created out of extreme kakornihan a
few years ago. So, to save you from the dangers of reading, just click the X
button and proceed scanning through your facebook newsfeed.
