Teenager No More ;)

Some of the (older) people I know are so afraid of turning 20 or should I say bidding goodbye to teenage years (one of the best parts of life). They find it embarrassing to say they're twenty something already when in fact, way back when they were so young they were so desperate to grow old. Ironic, isn't it?

Well, for me...I feel happy instead. I'm happy that I'm leaving teenage years not because it didn't matter but because it's time to go forward and face another chapter of life. My teenage years was so well spent, I didn't want it redone.

So to celebrate the ending of being a teen, I listed 20 things I realized now that I'm 20.

1. I've been living for two decades now. (That's quite a long time, a freaking long time, but I had fun and I'm expecting for more decades to come hihi)

2. I've watched more movies than I've read books. (I'm a movie nerd--kidding. I don't read novels without recommendations. ^^)

3. I realized that KPOP fandom has endings, and mine is on its way to the end. (I love SJ! I do! But I can't find any other way to enjoy it but to end it.)

4. I started my business as a teenager. (Yippie! Bucketlist slashed!) It's called Sweet Splendid pastries & desserts.

5. I'm playing the piano for 12 years now and I still suck. (Truth hurts, ouch)

6. My circle of friends grows smaller and truer and firmer and stronger. (I'm so redundant but hey, thank you for my friends for keeping me sane all this time)

7. I love Psychology and the theories that made me crazy. (even if it wasn't in my choice to be in Psych, I will never regret the day that I said yes to Psychology)

8. I made more mistakes than good choices but I learned from my mistakes more than I learned from good choices. (BUT! It doesn't mean that you have to make mistakes all the time! ok? hihi)

9. I'm not afraid to grow old. (Am I weird for feeling this way? I just thought that people get more attractive when they are old of experiences, of good times and of mistakes and it's something to be proud of.)

10. I love my life.

11. I suck at goodbyes. (call me weird for crying when my best friend and I parts after a long afternoon of girl talk...but my tears well-up thinking that I'll be seeing her after who knows how long.)

12. I hate vinegar and food and people that smells like it. (wahahahha, I just hate it.)

13. I have an ultimate crush with a Cabin Crew in our flight back to Manila. (This is a confession and a realization...but too bad, after finding him in fb, he has a son already/ no wife pa. pwede mag-apply? #push)

14. I go kilig when I watch movies with tall leading men (with abs, ehem hi xian lim, channing tatum, Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling... without abs,*coughs* hi lloydie my loves)

15. My phone playlist was last updated two years ago. Yes, I'm one heck of a lazy woman who would ask for good songs to download but forgets it after an hour.

16. I love cakes more than chocolates. (The baker in me is alive!)

17. I am still doing project sexy 2014, although I have a little setbacks and failures with calorie counts, I am happy that I'm slowly (and hopefully sure) moving forward to my goal weight. (DAY 86!!)

18. My body clock is a mess. (Nothing feels more satisfying than sleeping eight hours without worries, and it was a long time since I last felt it. I'm gonna go sleep now! haha)

19. I've passed through the k-drama addiction...now it's time for thai-drama addiction. (Let our internet speed be fast!)

20. I want to thank you. Thank you so much for having enough time to read all of this drama. I intentionally moved my birthday on Facebook so that I would see if somebody remembers my birthday...it turned out great because many people actually said their 'happy birthdays' to me through facebook wall, SMS, FB Messenger, Instagram and other social networking sites. I am beyond happy to tell you that even if my birthday today isn't as grand as my 18th, I feel very positive and happy with my life right now and with the people supporting me with all the decisions that I'm making (be it good or not).  Thank you for reading, thank you! :*
