The struggles of a College Senior

It would have been a lot better if I typed "I'm a college senior and I love it!" (*insert body wiggling). I don't know but this post makes me sigh a couple of times while writing. Let's just say that I have only two semesters left (including this sem) before I end college.

I thought it was as easy as high school to prepare for graduation. But hell no, it's way too different from each other. In high school, all you need to do is just pass all the subjects and you'll go marching on graduation day but in college (!!!) you have to do the following:

  1. fix your enlistment,
  2. have your subjects evaluated,
  3. check if you have grades from time to time,
  4. accomplish a senior project (THESIS!!!),
  5. make sure you don't get an AF or F,
  6. Practicum (or OJT of 180 hours); and
  7. schedule your yearbook pictorial (add in the time you need to find a dress that will match the yearbook's theme).
In short, my life as a college senior is in total chaos.

However, as much as I struggle to be a college senior, I still have that feeling of excitement to finally finish a huge chapter of my life that generously contributed to who I am now. There would always be bad days, and really terrible times that would push me to my limits almost saying "I give up" but those were just (hopefully) challenges that I needed to come across with.

I just had my yearbook picture taken (Toga and Creative Shot) and our yearbook theme is "Standout White". The theme drove me insane, I mean it was White and white made me look bigger than I already am and look like a hilarious bride. Take a good glance and see what I mean.

Thank you for still reading this blog (I saw the pageviews hihi) even if I was in an unexpected hiatus due to the demands of being a college senior. Don't you worry, I'll try to post as frequent as possible to make up for the lost times.

Are you a college senior, too? Tell me about it!

xx
